1)Data analysis, design and
implementation in Oracle 9i or higher. Manage day-to-day developer needs by
managing database security and implementing backup and recovery procedures.
2)Expected to perform with little or no
supervision to handle requests from the development team, including application
tuning and code version control.
3)Expected to meet with the development
team and or customer to help the requirements gathering process.
4)Expected to document work and
communicate progress to the rest of the team.
5)Ability to analyze work and provide
estimates of completion dates.
6)Experienced with full software
development lifecycle including application maintenance.
Qualifications:
1)10 years of Oracle DBA work, with
recent experience using Oracle 10g or higher.
2)Breadth and depth of knowledge of Oracle
solutions.
3)Ability to work well with software
developers, customers and junior DBA's.
Experience & Education
1)Oracle 10g OCA or OCP certification is
a major plus.
2)Bachelor's degree in Information
Systems, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is desirable.
3)Knowledge of WWW technologies such as
HTML, XML, CGI scripts and http web servers.
4)Knowledge of Oracle enterprise security
solutions is a plus.
