Summary of Position:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Significant experience as a mainframe system administrator.

Ability to review system documentation and related technical documentation.

Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to understand the overall security posture of the system.

Practical knowledge and experience with FISMA, NIST guidance, and federal agency security programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Expert knowledge of mainframe operations and security configurations.

Advanced knowledge of RACF, ACF2, Top Secret, Endevor, and other security-related mainframe products.

Advanced knowledge of security configurations and issues related to common mainframe-based database management systems (DBMS), including DB2.

Ability to gather data in support of security assessment, identify vulnerabilities, and report risks and potential mitigation steps to stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Five years experience with mainframe security testing.

Bachelors Degree.

At least one industry security certificaiton, including CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC.
