Summary of Position: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: oVMWare familiarity (from hosting SA POV, not VMWare aadmin) oGeneral scripting/monitoring/tuning SA skills oBackups – SAN snaps, hot/cold DB backups, etc oOn-call experience for mission critical env. oAbility to work on several projects/environments at once QUALIFICATIONS 5 –10 years experience in enterprise environments EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5 – 10 years experience in enterprise environments as follows: oServers:Solids understanding of major/minor aspects of: •HPUX •RHEL •Solaris (very minor – not hard requirement)Clustering – MC Service Guard, APA, NIC binding, etc oStorage: SAN & NAS: EMC + Netapp LVM + FS/NFS management oDatabase Familiar with Oracel DB/Apps from SA level: •Oracle RAC •Oracle DB 8i – 10g •Oracle Apps 11i/r12
